Problems with new caching clients and HyperNews

I thought I was going crazy until I realized the the new Mosaic for Windows (2.0b1) with its local cache turned on by default makes it tough to see updated pages like HyperNews does so well. There is an option to check the date of the file from the server verses the cached file date. Once that is set it works again. However this is not the default used for the installation.
