Internal Applications - Notes vs Web Technology - Take 2

This looks good and it seems to fill in some of the holes
in the Web when comparing it to Lotus Notes or other
proprietary solutions. Parts of our organisation have made a
large investment in Notes, but I am keen (and others) to
pursue the use of Web technology to complement the use of
Lotus Notes. I am trying to put together a business case
for the types of applications that Notes would be suitable
for and what Web technology would be suitable for in our
business environment (Government).
This is not quite as easy as I first thought it may be
because both Notes and the Web are changing so rapidly.
There certainly seems to now be an overlap between the two
types of technology.

I would like to hear from abyone else who has either been
down this path or is considering it.
