No.  We used to have no icon for when you select "none" as the
relation, but that left the left edge of the outline ragged.
So every message has an icon now.  We could have a configuration 
option to leave off the icons altogether.

The icons are built-in, but configurable by the installer of
HyperNews.  Letting message writers specify the icon with
any URL would be fun, but it could get out of control.
