including a base article on an existing page (SSI)

Is there any way that a forum (or 'article) on an allready existing page?
I was thinking you could use something like Server Side Includes but it appears the html is dynamically generated. Note: this doesn't necessarily mean allowing SSI's in the actual HyperNews directory.
It would be nice to be able to have a file of base articles HTML somewhere to save on server resources.
