add-response.pl - malformed header - Apache v1.0.0

Running 1.9B4.1 and Apache httpd v1.0.0 on HPUX 715/50. To test, I created a base article and added a response. When I pressed the button 'Post your message' apache responded with a screen reporting an internal error. In the apache error log the following was reported : [Tue Jan 23 09:58:43 1996] access to /usr/local/etc/apache_1.0.0/cgi-bin/HyperNews/add-response.pl failed for 194.193.231.101, reason: malformed header from script If I reload the base article page, the response seems to be there ok. Any ideas where I should look for the problem? Many thanks, Jason Smith.
