I'm still having the "Document contains no data" problem. I have, however, also got it working, on another machine. It's quite puzzling - almost interesting in a sick sort of way :-) Here's the deal: Both machines run Linux, NCSA httpd, Netscape, same version of perl - in fact, I've got to the extent of ftp'ing entire hierarchies of perl, etc., between the machines to make the setups as close to identical as possible. Good machine: it works fine. Bad machine: ANY CHANGE WHATSOEVER to the .html, urc file produces the error. For instance: cp hntest-body.html hntestt-body.html (note the two t's) Change the corresponding line in hntestt.html,urc. I get the error: Document contains no data. I know a fair amount about how it's all working, but not enough to trace this. Obviously it *can* parse a URL, so why will it only parse particular ones? Weird. I've also messed around with file ownership and permissions. Luckily my office computer runs HN perfectly, but I wish I could use it to its fullest on my home machine. Thanks for any input - David Black |
