I bet you are using Netsite. I'm told that that server
always sends STDERR to STDOUT, unlike NCSA's httpd.
If it is another server, I'd like to know.
Also, because it is not NCSA's httpd, the security
is likely done a different way, and you didn't select
the "manual security" option.
So when you restrict
access to the edit-article.pl script, it is probably
*not* asking who you are so therefore the test for
whether you are an admin fails. If you were to fix
the security (try manual security), it might work.
However, what you tried next was to turn off security
for edit-article.pl and add-article.pl. This would
otherwise work, except it turns out there is a bug
in that case and it fails to let you in. So you
lose both ways. This second problem will be fixed
for the next version. The first problem, with netsite,
is harder to fix, but we are working on it.
