Lots of trouble setting up HyperNews on GNServer 2.07

Hi,

I am having a lot of trouble setting up HyperNews on a
GNServer 2.07. I know that GNServer's support for CGI
is questionable at best, but I managed to rename
everything with a .cgi, as required, and I also changed
the calls to the CGI scripts to conform with GNServer's
needs. Everything seems to start just fine - but the
scripts don't work together. I can bring up the form
to edit a base article, but when I submit it to the
server, it gives me the message "Error in GetFormArgs,"
with the second line saying that the script should be
called from within a FORM. Well, it was called from
within a form! Any ideas?

Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to set up
HyperNews on a GNServer? My client will be getting a
standard httpd on a new machine in a couple of weeks -
should I just wait and install it then? Any help
appreciated...

By the way, I noticed two bugs in the scripts. First,
the hnlib has "Content-Type" instead of "Content-type"
in an error message and my server refused to accept the
uppercase "type" as a proper header. Second, there's
an "opendir" command in "add-article.pl" that is missing
its parentheses.

Thanks for any help...

yours,
