HyperNews' setup-form wants to tack on a unix path to a URL.

Forum: HyperNews Installation

I'm installing Hypernews under BSD Unix using setup-form.cgi. After completing, then submitting the form, I get the error:

  404 Not Found --
Url '/home/ftpadmin/root/pub/peters7/public_html/HyperNews/.scripts/setup.cgi' not found on server
I have a virtual server where the URL to the home page is:
even though the unix directory to the home page is:
  "/home/ftpadmin/root/pub/peters7/public_html"
The setup program is trying to tack the unix directory onto
the domain name to find the setup.cgi program:
  "http://www.frontier-news.com/home/ftpadmin/root ..."
when the correct URL would be:

How do I teach setup-form.cgi the difference?
