Problem setting up notification on UnixWare system

I don't know about rmail, but the fact that you get a server error is related to the mailing part of the process. I'd like to avoid that failure somehow since the posting was otherwise successful. I'd also like to have the submission of a posting not have to wait until the sendmail (or whatever) is done. What is needed for both is a background process, but I havent figured out how to do that yet. |
