I never tried using the --copy option of setup.pl, but I am happy with HyperNews at my site (http://www.umdnj.edu/hypernews) using apache, suexec and making the simple modification described in my earlier message to to have the hypernews setup create hard links (rather than symbolic ones) to its CGI programs. You might want to wait for HyperNews 1.10 since its features (see http://www.hypernews.org/HyperNews/get/hypernews/history.html) might solve your problems. Regards, Doug Yatcilla |
