The home page of HyperNews is http://www.hypernews.org/HyperNews/get/hypernews.html. It lists many other known HyperNews forums and sites.
Please read this: Find the right place to post your message, which is probably NOT in this forum. The purpose of this forum (and other forums on HyperNews subjects) is to discuss the HyperNews Instructions which are contained below. Please don't write messages about anything else. Inappropriate postings will be deleted from here.
This forum often gets people confused - this is not necessarily the same site you were on previously. This is the HyperNews Instructions forum on the HyperNews home site, www.hypernews.org. You may have come to this page from another site - check your URLs. Return (using your browser Back button) to the site or forum you were at previously before adding messages about non-HyperNews subjects.
If you would like to just test some aspect of HyperNews, please don't do that here - you are welcome to do tests on the HyperNews Test Forum . There is more information About HyperNews and how to get the HyperNews Source, which references other subjects of concern to HyperNews administrators. If you have a problem with any aspect of HyperNews, check the HyperNews Bugs forum. Or email me about it (liberte@hypernews.org).
Please note that I cannot help with membership or subscription problems on other HyperNews sites; you will have to contact the appropriate administrator for the site you are having problems with. See the Members page for the email of the administrator.
Here is a quick overview of many of the HyperNews features. Click on links of messages to read them one at a time, or click on Inline "1" or "All" to read a sequence of messages all in one page. The "More" and "Next" buttons let you navigate the thread of messages within one window, while the Frames button takes you to a multi-frame view of the forum that may be easier for you to navigate. "Add Message" lets you participate in the discussion. "Subscribing" means you will be notified by email when something is added to the forum or message you subscribe to, whereas "becoming a member" means that your name, homepage, and/or email address are known to the HyperNews site and therefore do not need to be entered every time you add a message. Some HyperNews installations may require membership to add messages or perform other actions.
Please do not add messages on this page about Windows 95 or any other subject that is not related to the HyperNews instructions.
