I've got something that will allow you to view groups of people (which person is in which group, as defined in the .htgroup files), and individual people (name, address, ...). The views contain hyperlinks to each other.

If you add a "group:" line to the *.html, urc files, then the script interprets this as an access restriction, i.e. only those people (and groups) that figure in the "group:" entry are _supposed_ to have access.

This complements another extension to 1.9B4.1 on my server that actually _implements_ the access restrictions based on the "group:" entries. Note that the scripts that you can get do _not_ implement the actual restrictions; they are there only for your "viewing pleasure".

Basically, you will need to get anything in the following directory that starts with an "e":

http:/www.eiba.com/pub/

(Note that the other things are script extensions for the architext excite search engine, to make it work with HN. See the pages on searching on union.ncsa, article 9.1 .)

Place the eibatmpl.?.html into your hnpeople/ directory, or hack up the scripts to place them into a less silly location. Place the PERL code into your .scripts directory. Since this works with 1.9B4.1, you might have to hack up the code.

Enjoy!
