I have installed 1.9B5.2 and am planning to use it inhouse
initially. I'm very impressed with the work you've put in.
My aim is to use it in work we are doing with
various K-12 communities in several projects being done for
the NSF and the US Dept. of Ed.
I have experimented with setting up multiple discussion
areas/groups each open to group members only.
I had some initial difficulty because
.htgroupmembers files were not created properly (this may
have been an artefact of my first installing 1.9B5.1 and
then installing B5.2) but, after manually editing a couple
of these files and their associated .htgroupaccess files,
the restricted access seems to be working.
However, what I can't figure out is this: if I've created a
new member while in the context of one group, how can I add
that person to another group? I can manually edit the access
files, but can't figure out whether there is any other
(friendlier) way to do it.
