How many messages are you allowed to keep on your website before Hypernews makes you delete the old messages!!!!!!

I ask that because at http://www.wwf.com/forum.htm, there is a forum in which there's like, a thousand-some messages on it, and I'm just wondering whether you can have as many as you want, or is there a limit to how many messages you can have? Also, I see many people post the same message more than once. Are you allowed to do THAT, too?
