I ended up adding a delete-members feature for
the next version (which will be 1.9.7). Part of the
process can be done simply by removing the member
file in the hnpeople directory, but that is sometimes
awkward. Furthermore, the userid:password entry
in the password file needs to be removed. So a web
based command that does the right thing for selected
members will be useful.
I also have a new view-members list that is linked
from the Members button, and from there you can view
more about each member, if allowed, and edit your
own member info.
(These new features are funded by those who contract
with me to do an installation and customization.
The best way to get your favorite feature implemented
is probably to hire me.)

Has anyone added a provision to delete members to their installation?
