If you put an anchor called responses at the end of your HyperNews
body, we could jump straight to the responses section.
Right now we have to start at the top, then cntrl+end to the
bottom.
I realize that you might always want people to read from
the top, but...
An alternative would be to put a "jump to responses" line
at the top of your document, and label it with the responses
anchor if you really want people to read the body first.
Tricky users will, of course, find your new anchor for the
responses section and just
jump to that if they want to skip the body, but hey! at least
they will read it once!
Could this be a possible "suggested standard" for HyperNews
body pages? What do you think?
P.S. The same logic applies to key points in your body document
for example a definition or hotlist section. If you provide
anchor points then people who are writing links to your material
can point readers directly to the relevant section.
For example, I would like to point readers directly to the
subscribe section in your help document in my writeups, but
now I have to point them to the top of a long page
