I think the current response tree layout with the nested lists wastes
too much space. Here's my suggestion regarding a compact, minimal
layout:
* dump the relationship icons, but keep the relationship categories
* dump the Article numbers, they convey no information to the reader
and are pure internal, administrative data that should be hidden.
* The response tree is presented down to arbitrary depth inside a
<pre></pre> tag, like so:
[Question] What's up?
>[Answer] Not much.
>>[Sad] Too bad.
>[Answer] Quite a bit!
[News] This page sucks.
>[Agree] True enough
etc. As before, the titles are links to the bodies.
Alternatively, I would vote for an icon to go with the "none"
relationship to make the page layout more consistent. Maybe a simple
icon displaying a text document as used by the NCSA server in
directory listings would be appropriate.
