Sorry for my delayed reply.
Thank you for your suggestions.
We decided to go for forum level subscription for mail-only users.
As you suggested, will build on the current incoming-mail script.
Regarding notifying members without subscribing them, we need
to write a routine that collects all the members and straight mail
them without doing any subscription.
Whenever I get free time from my work, I decided to do this.
So, I should be able to spend atleast an hour a day. Planning
to do this in 15 to 30 days.
A **BIG** hurdle is, I do not know Perl :-)
