How do I tell it NOT to e-mail me?

Every time someone sends a message to one list I am subscribed to, I get a copy of the message in my Inbox. I am the only one in the class who has this problem. How do I tell it to NOT e-mail me every message? It happens for every message, not just ones that I post or replies to them.
