Question email notification for some, but not all subscribers | problem?

Some of the subscribers to a forum I'm hosting don't seem to be getting mail when new items are posted, while other subscribers seem to get everything just fine.

Any obvious thing I can look for to see whay this discrepency seems to be occuring?
