I am new to the WEB but found tthis page through the WEB Crawler. The info is facinating, as I too am descended from Bernard L'Aisne dit Laliberte'. I don't have the time at the moment to record all of the information I have obtained. My original data came from a French Canadian book of geneology I found in the Minnesota Historical Society entitled
"Recueil de Genealogies", basically a record from 1500-1600 through 1945 approx of all marriages and births. I do not have the
dettails of the publisher, but can get the information. I have an database of some of the information and will share this information. It is possible that Daniel LaLiberte and I are related, as I notice he spent some time in
Minnesota. My great grandfather Onesime Laliberte emigrated from Quebec in 1879 to Minneapolis, MN, and his children and their
descedants still live here, although I have not taken the opportunity to contact them. Perhaps they might be tuned into this page.
By the way, Daniel, I am also in computer software development, although not at your level! Paul H. LaLiberte, 13418 Excelsior Blvd Minnetonka, MN 55345-4910 paull@apertus.com |
