While I admire C.B.'s voice, why must she sing all that Italian drivel? Why doesn't she devote herself to something meaty (since she's a fairly meaty babe, herself), something, dare I ask, German? I think C.B. would be perfect in the role of Eleonore in Ernst Krenek's neglected masterpiece, Karl V? Of course, others may prefer to hear her in Krenek's "Der Diktator" singing the role of Charlotte. But please, C.B., you're an international celebrity now. Learn eine kleine, Deutsche, bitte?
