If Ms. Bartoli had a shaky technique, how do you explain her metoric carrer? You should give credit where credit is due! It is true that Ms. Horne is an excellent mezzo but she is not going to sing eternally. I am not old enough to know how Mrs. Horne's technique was when she was the same age as Ms. Bartolli is now! Have you, by the way, listened to Ms.Anderson's and Ms. Bartoli's recording of Pergolesi's Stabat Mater & Salve Regina and Scarlatti's Salve Regina? If you have not, please treat yourself to an hour of ectasi with these two young voices.
