This new Forum "chapter" will undoubtedly permit us to continue our global conversations with ease (and of course, with equal joy in Cecilia's music!). I would recommend that everyone who has corresponded with other individual Forum members "privately," by email, now send the new Forum URL to those people directly, so everybody can "get connected" once again without confusion (that is, just in case anyone overlooks the new Forum link at the top of the new Archive). And again, thanks to both Dan and Klaus for a seamless transition so far!
BTW, re editing the old messages in the Archives, deleting messages with broken links: Klaus, for the sake of the "historical record," might I suggest that you only *deactivate* the links? (I don't know whether you, as "administrator" can edit *within* individual posts, or not...) That is, I wonder if it might not be useful to someone, someday, perhaps some researcher in the future, to know *which publications and websites* had once published material about Cecilia, even if that information is no longer available *online*?? But if messages-containing-broken-links are entirely deleted, that record is lost (even skewed).
At the least, I would hope that the *substance* of any Forum messages could be retained (when only a very small part of the total post was a broken link)... But perhaps this is too much trouble to accomplish-- ?? In any case, good luck with all this generous volunteer labor of yours!
