Hi all. In addition to a beautiful photo of Cecilia from Covent Garden's Turco production, the December issue of Opera News, as written by Features Editor Brian Kellow, has the following to say about La Suprema:

With the superb collaboration of Marc Minkowski and Les Musiciens du Louvre, Bartoli fills each selection with uncanny power and immediacy; there are times when she is so completely on fire that you're practically reduced to giddy laughter. It's as if she knew about Sanford Meisner's credo: "Acting is the reality of doing in imaginary circumstances." Bartoli probably wouldn't know how to fake anything if she tried."
