Hi! I also am planning an at excursion. i will be able to go in 1998, but certain financial obligations may not be agreeable to the time off from work. I may quit and let the bank have the friggin car! ...maybe.
As of late I seem to be coming down with a Jones-sized case of Springer Fever. I thought the planning would cause my anticipation to abate for a while but it seems to have only made it worse. Anyone else getting into this bind? If so, please write, we must all encourage each other to be patient and our time will come :)
If you want I can post my equipment list and reasons for choosing each item as opposed to others, that way I get corrected on bad choices and everyone gets my opinions. :)
I plan on starting in mid-March and hiking pretty laid back, looking at 10-13 mile days. So when you are out there, look for some Guy calling himself "BALL"
