Question Sourcing Bright Coloured Gore-Tex Material

Forum: Search and Rescue Information - Forum
Date: 1997, Mar 07
From: Don Blakely

Vernon Search & Rescue is looking to replace its Gore-tex jackets used on searches. We have our own pattern and a manufacturer but are having significant problems sourcing Gore-Tex material in the same colours as the previous set.

Does anyone know a source for double or triple layer Gore-Tex in blaze orange and/or neon yellow? We are looking for enough material for approximately 40 jackets. We could pay to have a whole run done in 500 metre lengths but that is far more than we need.

If you have an answer please reply by E-Mail to blakely1@junction.net

Any help on this point would be greatly appreciated

Don Blakely, Vernon SAR Society
