Irv ... I think you are on target with this one . You've been able to look through all their bull and call it like it is. Many young people call me and ask me about careers in SAR ... after I pick myself up off the floor we have a serious discussion about reality. Too many volunteers join for the wrong reasons and any unit that maintains this type of volunteer is inviting trouble. They are only in it for what they can get out of it.
