We are using a 1979 FORD box van, the box is about 6 ft by 10 ft. The frount 2/3's is mostly storage with an isle down the center and a radio operators bench. Keep as much weight as far forward as posable to avoid driving problems. We have three radios, 150 MHZ band,40MHZ band and a ham radio with a big range. The unit is equiped with two deepcycle batteries, a automatic charger,(see your locial RV shop) both DC and AC lights. Our generator is 4KWS, 2000 watts for floodlights and 2000 watts for the lights, charger, copier, coffie pot OR a heater. The biggest recomendation I can give you is two fold, 1. KEEP IT SIMPLE. 2. MAKE IT VERSITIAL. ESAR Post 9703, Kitsap County ,Washington
