| haphazard plan at best. You can help make it easier
| for all of us to find what we're looking for.

| The Information Management division of Team America,
| Corp., is developing a new internet tool called
| HyperNews. This Tool will be available to all users as
| part of the list server sub system on the Net.

| We currently have indexed over 750 sub topics that
| cover 5 categories ( Crime, Politics, Media, Consumer,
| Education ). I want to increase the list to around
| 2000 sub topics and would like your help.

| Please read what you can do, depending on that type of
| work you do on the InterNet :

| InterNet information Managers - When a article is
| posted to the net, how can I make sure the 7 digit
| HyperNews number can be found by a gopher server ?

| Software navigator manufactures - Can you provide the
| user of your products a way to upload a master list
| of topics from the net, so they can get the
| HyperNews number attached to their article before
| it's sent to the net ?

| Government information provider - Is there a group
| within the government that could provide me with
| a list of possible Categories, Topics, Sub Topics,
| ect., covering information that you provide to the
| public ?

| Government funded information provider - Could you send
| me a list of topics that the following groups
| promote or specialize in, and use the net to make
| public announcements:
| not for profit organizations, charities,
| educational and medical research facilities
|
| Local and state tax funded organizations - Please send
| a list of topics each organization uses in a
| press release.

| U.S. Consumer - The HyperNews topic list will be
| available for you to download soon. Please keep
| searching for HyperNews articles for information
| updates and project developments. I will to find
| a easy way for you to download a compressed file,
| that will self extraction on what ever computer
| system you have. The present file is about 25,000
| bytes but should grow to 60,000 bytes when everyone
| pitches in. I can get it to Dos users, but how about
| Apple/Mac users. Any ideas ?

| Let's say you want to find a article on how to make
| you own Trout fishing fly and you have access to the
| HyperNews topic list.

| 1) Choose the Category for Consumer Information
| 2) Topic : Sports
| 3) Sub Topic : Fishing
| 4) Sub Sub Topic : Trout
|
| You would see that the HyperNews number for:
|
| Consumer,Sports,Fishing,Trout was 4020126.
|
| To find any articles about Trout fishing, you
| would ask the InterNet gopher or other search
| utility to find HN#4020126 and any article with
| that number as a KeyWord could be found.

| This sure beats looking through all that stuff, right ?

| All topic lists submitted should be ASCII text. The
| order of the topics should be like the example above.

| The HyperNews topic list is being organized for free
| distribution, so all of us can FIND stuff, instead of
| spending all our time LOOKING for stuff.

information users can have access to, were should I keep my Topics list so
veryone can use it and update it ?
