Universal Resource Names

This is a page of links to info on URNs and name resolution. There is close relationships with URLs and URCs. The general grouping of these issues is called Universal Resource Identifiers (URI).

I am interested in DNS and what problems it is having. I expect that there will be several orders of magnitude more URNs than domains, so any problems DNS has will surely arise for URNs unless we stear clear of them.
