I certainly hope that CCI will have some stability at some point since I really like the idea of a global browser API. However, I should imagine that it will go through some major changes first. It seems like everybody who has been using it has half-a-dozen suggestions for changes/improvements :-)
The current beta CCI API is also quite buggy.
