You're quite right SEND BROWSERVIEW does do this, and the steps I outlined do not (at the time of writing SEND OUTPUT wasn't working on Solaris boxes and SEND BROWSERVIEW didn't exist).

However, I like the behaviour I outlined. I can imagine wanting to do all four things and the current behaviour of SEND OUTPUT seems inconsistant to me.

I've commented on this before so I won't witter on about it again - but I do find the current interactions between SEND OUTPUT, GET, and the users view in the browser somewhat unintuitive.
