WWW Clients

World Wide Web clients are typically browsers (or the users who run the browsers, depending on your perspective). The information accessed by clients is provided by servers. The display of HTML documents is the responsibility of clients. Users probably want to find information on the web. You reference a document with a URL

The newsgroup comp.infosystems.www.users is for discussion on clients, browsers, and users of the WWW.

Tree grabbers and worms are clients that search the web automatically. Worms and robots are listed under searching since they are often used to build indexing services.
