Collaborative Voting

These collaborationsystems let participants vote on various things, and eventually see the results of the vote. Voting normally requires automatic tabulation to avoid subjective bias. A voting time is relatively short lived, but voting systems should stick around awhile.

Cardiff's Movie Database Browser has a weekly ballot, and you can list your own votes.
HOMR - Helpful On-Line Music Recommendation Service collects your ratings for a number of music performers, does some magic statistical correlations with other people's ratings, and returns a list of other music that it determines you might like, based on the likes and dislikes of other users who seem to share your taste.
Talk.bizarre voting system
Usenet Oracle Resource Inde includes a mechanism for users to rate Oracularities.
The genetic art and music systems in Collaborative Creations are also voting systems.
c|net polls give you results immediately.
Yahoo's Entertainment: Contests, Surveys, Polls - pages that take polls, though they may not show you the results.
FireFly Allows users to rate movies and music, and add reviews.
