i need help with frames...

i need help with frames...i've got them to work on different wesite providers such as angelfire, but my site is at geocities and i have no clue how to work them at geocities. the code never works, though it will work on other website sevices. i just want to know if anyone can help and show me a code that might work for geocities, or maybe explain how to work frames on geocities. i have no clue what i'm doing wrong. thanks very much, if you can help.
