After reviewing both options that Rhody Morrow gave regarding page breaks, I want to add a caution that many people probably won't think about that is relavant to the white-space solution: Font size. If you have one font size, and another user set their page to a different font size then your page breaks are going to be different than others. So this extra white space technique would stink. You can force a specific font size of your page, which is a bit on the undesirable side, but it don't look like there's many other options that I'm finding to solve this issue. I more have the problem with a table rows getting split in a table when I don't want them split there. I wish I could turn off auto page break for specific sections of my page so I know they'll always be on the same page. There likely is a way, but I don't know what it is yet. I know I'm definitely in favor of the style sheet option at this point. Well, I just wanted to caution anyone about this nasty bug that most people wouldn't even be aware of if they have a public web page. Of course if the page is only for you, then the white space with a forced font size for your browser is probably the way to go since you would know what size you want to force your fonts to be. P.S. My icq # is 22816994 if anyone has a solution for my problem. I expect this site will email me of a response though, but just in case someone knows they have what I'm looking for, please make sure I get the solution. :) |
