A bit about Gn and security

Forum: HTTPD - The Server Daemon

The description of Gn is correct, but there are additional differences that you might find important. One of the biggest is that the security model for Gn is much stronger than that of the httpd's. Instead of letting the remote user get at anything unless you actively prevent them, Gn only gives access if you explicity allow it. This is true on both the WWW and Gopher parts of Gn.
