Question How e When delete log files using http-analyzer

Hi we are from Brazil,
 We are using http-analyzer.
 How I can dalete the log files.
 When I delete log files and run http_analyze with -m option then the old stats are deleted of the html output pages of Http-Analyzer.
 The system configuration is:
 The HTTP server is NCSA HTTPD 1.4.2 
 The Operating System is BSDI BSD 2.0

Help!
