None Doh! Keyfile bug, passphrase = "password"

Forum: NCSA HTTPd 1.6 Beta Test

From: Adam Cain

Seems I didn't put some important information in the README files for HTTPd, as I intended.

The passphrase for the keyfile that comes with HTTPd 1.6b1 is simply "password".

Also, please be sure that the "SHTTPkeys" item in your httpd.conf is set to the correct file. It seems there is a bug in this release: if HTTPd can't find and open the keyfile, it still reports "password good." OOOPS!!!

Documentation on hoohoo will take shape over the next couple days.

Thanks for your interest and patience!!
