first prepare a gif or a jpg file

use the following command <body background="filename.gif"> This will make all the background the gif picture and will repeat itself until it covers the whole area.

If you just want to change the color of the background then use <body bgcolor="#00000"> 000000 gives you black FFFFFF gives you white FF0000 gives you red etc. .These are hex number for colors. If you want a full list then E-Mail me
