Yes, the original note on the phrase 'Web Master' was uninformed. That does not mean that a dozen people should textually beat that individual. Especially with those idiotic replies. There were about three which had basic, direct answers with some merit. The first (though I am not sure about the title), one from 'unknown', and from barbara p. (My God, there is intellegent life in San Diego!!).
I can't point out all of the stupidity which flowed across the screen when I read them, but I will point out those the size and scope of the Grand Canyon. 'scook' should have a drink with Joe McCarthy, they would get along famously in their paranoid and misinformed hell. Butthead should try consulting a history book instead of Beavis. The United States was founded by persons fleeing intolerance and adherence to preestablished idea(l)s. And the Bible would be purely interpreted by the Pope if those 'upstart' Protestants had not caused such a fuss. (This was the most frightening reply, coming from a university).
Anyone interested in intelligent answers should only look at the three replies I mentioned at the beginning, the rest are more stupid and/or useless than Dan Quayle.
